“Centum M2PT Mentor Workshop” Lesson 5 was successfully held on the afternoon of November 29th at Tung Wah Group of Hospitals – Tung Po.
The topic focused on reviewing the “SCORE” communication method, exploring the three common barriers mentors often encounter when communicating with mentees , and sharing practical tips on how to inspire positive thinking among young people .
Under the leadership of Rex ReAction founder Mr. Rex Wu, mentors engaged in a lively discussion on the topic “Why the ‘Quick Fix Culture’ damages interpersonal relationships.” They reflected on how the pursuit of speed has unconsciously influenced the way people communicate and solve problems.
Mr. Wu pointed out that up to 70% of today’s youth feel it is difficult to communicate with their parents. To address this, he introduced the “6W Method”, encouraging mentors to empathize from the youth’s perspective, connect with their interests , and guide them in releasing stress.
The mentorship program, which began in March, was successfully completed and graduation certificates were awarded ! All mentors left the session feeling enriched and more confident , looking forward to continuing their journey of growth alongside the mentees, and building a brighter future together.
