CCF M2PT Mentor Workshop on 2.28

Our Centum collaborate with Education for Good and Rex ReAction, organized the “Centum M2PT Mentor Workshop” on February 28th at Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Tung Po. The event was attended by over 40 mentors. The “Centum M2PT Mentor Workshop” was specially designed by the Centum Charitas Foundation for the fourth cohort of mentors in the “Strive and Rise Programme.” The goal of the workshop was to enhance the mentors’ confidence, enabling them to interact more effectively with their mentees and improving their communication and engagement skills. During the event, Our Centum’s Vice President, Mr. Orr Ka Yeung, delivered an encouraging speech to the mentors. Mr. Orr Ka Yeung has served as a mentor in the “Strive and Rise Programme” for four consecutive years. His persistence and strong sense of mission are truly admirable.

Rex ReAction founder, Mr. Rex Wu, focused on the psychological development needs of adolescents as the theme of the workshop. He explained key communication principles, techniques, body posture, and tips for quickly establishing rapport during the first meeting with mentees. These insights aim to help mentors become trusted M2PTs (Model, Mentor, Partner & Team) for their mentees, encouraging mentees to confidently achieve the program’s goals.
Mr. Rex Wu and mentors analyzed and practiced the “Four-Step Appreciation Method” while engaging with fellow mentors. This gave the mentors a deeper understanding of adolescent psychological development. The session was met with enthusiastic responses, and the mentors expressed eagerness to apply the techniques they learned to their interactions with mentees as soon as possible.
