“Strive and Rise” Company Visit —A Discovery Tour of Google’s Hong Kong Office

As a partner of the “Strive and Rise,” The Foundation organized a company visit to Google’s Hong Kong office on October 18 for mentors and mentees.

Under the guidance and introduction of Google representative Kenneth, the participants gained a deeper understanding of Google’s corporate culture and explored the diverse facilities in the office. Particularly impressive was the evident care for employees reflected throughout the office—from the unlimited supply of snacks and beverages in the cafeteria to the table tennis tables and sleep pods in the rest areas—allowing employees to relax and interact at any time, sparking creativity through leisure. These details fully demonstrated the people-oriented culture of foreign enterprises, emphasizing employee well-being and work-life balance, giving the students a firsthand experience of a workplace atmosphere centered on freedom, innovation, and trust.

Through this visit, the students not only witnessed a technological work environment but also gained deeper insights into the people-centric corporate spirit. The inspiration and ideas gained from this activity will undoubtedly transform into valuable motivation for their continuous growth and courageous pursuit of dreams.
